The preliminary work for the US presidential election to be held in November next year has already begun. President Biden has announced that he is going to run on behalf of the Democratic Party and shocked the media. Among them, Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, is currently leading the presidential candidates of the Republican Party, so the series of legal battles against him have attracted a lot of attention.

In 2016, he broke with presidential candidates' tradition by refusing to release his tax returns when running against Hillary Clinton. After several legal battles to investigate Trump's business practices, financial fraud, and tax evasion, the US Supreme Court ruled in July 2020 that financial documents from Trump companies must be turned over to the Manhattan District Attorney's office for criminal investigation. The Manhattan District Attorney's Office investigates potential financial crimes, including tax and insurance fraud. The New York state attorney general's office is also conducting a civil investigation into whether Trump misrepresented the value of company assets to obtain loans and tax breaks.

Actress Stormi Daniels has alleged that she was bribed not to speak out about her previous relationship with Trump during the 2016 election. Trump's ex-lawyer Michael Cohen pleads guilty to campaign finance violations over 'hush' payments An investigation is currently underway. This could implicate Trump in illegal activities. E. A civil lawsuit filed by Jean Carroll alleges that Trump sexually assaulted her in 1996. A jury awarded Carroll five million dollars in a defamation case, denying that she "made up the story to increase sales of her book by saying that she was not her type."
